Autumn Woodland Walk

A walk through woodland at dusk, into a cabin, beside the fire.

An immersive sound journey through woodland at dusk. Leaves crunch underfoot, wind rustles dry leaves and birds call in the distance. Rain begins to fall, followed by the call of a nearby owl. The listener arrives at a cabin, opens a wooden door and steps inside. A match strikes, a fire catches and tea is made as the room slowly warms. Settling beside the fire with a book, the sounds soften to turning pages and crackling wood. Minimal felt piano begins to play, with a poem unfolding between the musical phrases, reflecting on fireside stillness, transitions and the changing seasons.
